Workshop Two: Adapting Sexual Violence Prevention Curriculum During COVID-19

February 23, 2021 – 11:00 AM Pacific Time (2:00 PM Eastern Time)

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, sexual violence prevention practitioners adapted and implemented various in-person programs and curricula in their communities. Preventionists have noted challenges not only in sustaining prevention efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, but also in adapting existing curriculum to meet communities’ needs and capacity for distance learning. Join the National Sexual Violence Resource Center and PreventConnect on this web conference with program developers from Bringing in the Bystander/Know Your Power, and Expect Respect as they discuss the how and the why of their program adaptations during COVID-19. Guests will also discuss supplemental activities for sustaining prevention during the pandemic, as well as the crucial need to continue to prioritize prevention in times of crisis.
