Embracing Change & Growth Conference

Join us for the Embracing Change & Growth Conference (image: top of trees and a blue sky) See you in Chicago, IL!

Rooted in the lessons learned from the multi-year national Sexual Assault Demonstration Initiative (SADI) project, Embracing Change & Growth will focus on infrastructure and services to effectively serve all survivors of sexual violence in healing.

This conference will explore:

  • organizational change & capacity building
  • addressing racism & oppression within our organizations
  • critical self-reflection to bravely embrace change & growth

  • dual/multi-service programs and standalone rape crisis centers including mainstream, culturally specific, and tribal programs who are interested in enhancing their services for survivors through organizational change and capacity building
  • state and territorial sexual assault coalitions, Tribal coalitions and funders interested in supporting programs in organizational transformation

OVW grantees funded under the following grant programs are approved to send up to 2 individuals, without submitting a Grant Adjustment Notice (GAN), to attend the Sexual Assault Demonstration Initiative (SADI) conference, Embracing Change and Growth: Strengthening Services for Survivors of Sexual Violence:

  1. Disability
  2. SASP Formula
  3. STOP Formula
  4. State/Territorial Coalitions
  5. Tribal Coalitions
  6. Tribal Government
  7. Tribal SASP
  8. Underserved Populations

OVW grantees funded under the following grant programs are approved to send up to 2 individuals, but must submit a Grant Adjustment Notice (GAN), to attend the Sexual Assault Demonstration Initiative (SADI) conference, Embracing Change and Growth: Strengthening Services for Survivors of Sexual Violence:

Other grantee programs not on the above lists should contact their OVW Program manager to seek permission and guidance on what is required of them to attend.
